CS X-Ray Barrier

The CS X-RayBarrier cavity sliding door system is designed for isotope areas and spaces with diagnostic x-ray equipment. Traditional x-ray doors, heavy with lead, can be cumbersome. Our sliding door solution is easier to manage and can be fully automated for larger doors. The cavity pocket includes custom-fitted lead shielding on all jambs. When paired with the CS X-RayBarrier sliding timber door leaf, it creates a complete system that meets the minimum barrier requirements specified by consulting engineers, offering a reliable and efficient solution for x-ray areas.

Maximum Size - Made to specification up to a maximum door size of 2.4sqm (2400 x 1000mm)

Wall Framing - 90mm

Maximum door weight - 240kg

Cavity pocket has lead shielding custom fitted to all the jambs.
Supplied with aluminium jambs in order to accommodate the lead shielding
Modified closing jamb provides an overlap between the wall shielding and the lead lining of the door
Sliding door is easier to manage than a heavy hinged door
Large heavy doors can be fully automated
Suitable for 13mm or 25mm wall linings
