Features

Greater Accessibility: Utilising the patented magnetic technology of the CL400 Magnetic, this addition to the range provides more flexibility for building owners. It uses the same door cutout as the CL400 Magnetic and is able to be retrofitted over existing CL400 flush handles for the requirements of disabled tenants.

For compliance with NZS 4121:2001, the centre of the handle should be positioned between 900mm and 1200mm (1000mm optimal) above the finished floor level. Minimum clear walk through of 760mm is required. There must be 45mm of clear space from the edge of the pull handle to the nearest door jamb when the door is both fully open and completely closed. The supplied ‘Down to Lock’ label must be positioned as close as possible to the handle. Consult local standards for guidelines relating to the specific project.

Patented Magnetic Technology: Magnetic catch and plunger action produces a satisfying "click" when near the striker plate to activate the handle's closing mechanism. Non-magnetic version also available.

Effortless Operation: The enlarged and extended grab area of the CL400 ADA makes using the handle straightforward with minimal force to operate. In the Privacy configuration, the locking mechanism is engaged with a simple up and down motion while red/green engaged/vacant indications are featured as standard.

Easy Installation: Door preparation is a simple cutout. If retrofitting, enlarging a cut out for the CL400 Magnetic to fit over is easy. Installation is a breeze, just follow our guide and template. No mortice and no on-site modifications of the handle are required.

Stylish and Modern: Available in a wide range of finishes, the CL400 ADA Magnetic is a popular contemporary and modern architectural option for sliding doors. Hidden screws keep the outside handle clean, while there are only three small screws that show on the face plate. Bi-parting hardware matches Passage and Privacy options.

Durability and Reliability: Constructed of high-quality components, the CL400 Magnetic's moving parts sit flush until the door closes to minimise wear and tear.

Applications: Suitable for cavity and surface sliding doors.
